Evan is 3!

Evan turned three on April 22nd! We had his birthday party on April 9th because that was the only open Saturday in April! He had a buzz light year party and LOVED every second of it! He has been talking about his party for a while now, and he loved to sit in my lap as we searched the Internet for fun party ideas! The most special thing was him having all of his friends from church there. He LOVES his friends and names them daily! What a FUN party we had!! We ended the buzz party with an easter egg hunt! So cute to see all of the little kids/babies with their easter egg basket in hand! Thank you, Lord, for Evan!

Dear Evan,

I can't believe you are three!! It seems only days ago I held you for the first time. You cease to amaze us. Your personality, your imagination, your love for people....what a precious little boy you are to us. You hit alot of amazing milestones in your last year! You gave up your paci, bear, blanket and crib and traded it in for a big boy twin bed with a buck for a stuffed animal! You traded your diapers in for big boy underwear! You went from talking in little sentences when you first turned 2, to talking more than your momma!ha You LOVE church. You love to pray, sing your Bible songs, and hear Daddy tell you Bible stories at night. Everyday spent with you is pure bliss. You make me laugh, make my heart melt and challenge me to be a better mom and Christian. I know year 3 will be a big year for you! We are starting preschool (at home with abeka books), and you will be moving up to your "childrens church" soon. I can only imagine all the fun we will have with you. We pray every night with you, that God will save you at the earliest age possible---at the moment when you understand. We also pray that God will use you in His service.
