Myron and I (and a missions team from our church) recently took a missions trip to visit a new church plant in Provo, Utah! Logan and Grayson Wolf are doing a great job, and really need our prayers as they reach the Mormon people of Provo. Provo is 90% Mormon and there is only 1 other small Baptist Church in Provo--located on the opposite side of their new church plant.

One word to describe my emotions as we were on this missions trip was Sad. I felt so sad for all of these sweet people who are "blinded by Satan" and seem to live in this "bubble" filled with man-made rules and ordinances. Of course, I was happy as we were able to share invitations about New Morning Church, however, just seeing how devote the Mormons are in their false faith just deeply saddened me. Although they seem so tangled in their false faith, we all know that God's Word is Powerful and can cut through the toughest of hearts.
Logan explaining about the Mormon Temple, statues, beliefs---they were great hosts and we enjoyed their fellowship!
As soon as we landed in Salt Lake City, we grabbed a quick burger and headed to the Museum in Salt Lake. We spent our time in the museum learning about the Mormon "faith." Our jaws dropped as we read about the false teachings of Joseph Smith! I still can't believe that so many people actually believe him; however, I understand that Satan has deceitfully blinded them!
Here is a picture of Joseph Smith. It is so sad how ONE man made up so many lies and how the devil used his teachings to deceive many, many people.

The main temple in Salt Lake City, Utah. I wish I could elaborate more on what I learned about what one must do to become "temple worthy." It is simply amazing and terrifying that so many people visit these temples daily to baptize for the dead. They treat going to the temple like an everyday "errand," just as we might go to the grocery store or post office. The parking lots of the temples in Salt Lake and Provo were always filled.......
This is the current President of the Mormon People. He pretty much dictates everything the Mormon church does and teaches.
Mrs. Kim was looking at all of the different "Bibles" that they have printed in many different languages!
This is a model of what inside the Temple looks like. It is exquisite and very interesting. For a couple to be married in the Temple- is a very big deal. Of course, both of them have to be "temple worthy."
This picture was taken in Provo--we drove to a beautiful place that gives you a wonderful view of the city of Provo.
On the other side of the water where the mountains are located is where many polygamist families live. The popular show on TLC "Sister Wives" is also filmed there.

We love Logan and Grayson! So thankful for how the Lord is already using them in Provo!
Myron and Logan trying to count the hundreds of Mormon churches that are strategically located in every neighborhood. When we knocked doors, 99.9% of the people would say that they were LDS and attended the church "down the street."
One of the favorite restaurants in Provo is the Brazilian Steakhouse.
They would bring around all kinds of meats to your table and you can eat all you want! It was great!
Our team was able to knock almost 400 doors! Although everyone was primarily LDS, they were very kind and friendly.
Logan had the bright idea to take us on a small hike to this beautiful waterfall in the mountains in freezing weather! It was worth it, Logan!
My wonderful husband acting crazy!
We were able to walk around the BYU campus, and for me, this was one of the saddest times of our trip. Thousands of college kids walking around, eating lunch, browsing in the gift shop--all of them LDS! I just wanted to scream to them,"You are being Deceived--Take the blindfold OFF!"
These "action figures" are sold in the BYU gift shop--they start early in wanting the children to grasp on to their faith.

This picture was taken on Sunday morning right outside of New Morning Church which is located in the conference room of a hotel.
I love the view from the back of their meeting place!
The Lord really blessed them with an ideal location! It has its own separate entrance, room for growth, and a beautiful area in the back for future cookouts!
Our Missions Team from our church with Logan and Grayson on Sunday right before we flew back to NC.
This church plant is in the very early beginning stages--and it is doing great! We enjoyed a great sermon and Bible Study lesson from Logan!
We really hope that many people will visit the Wolf family on a short term missions trip. It is only an hour from the well-known tourist ski area, Park City! We enjoyed spending a few hours there as well! Please pray for the Wolfs! They are desperately praying for a couple to move there and join their team! Also pray for the Mormons that live in Provo--that they would soften their hearts to the truth and to Logan and Grayson!
Please pray extra hard during the holidays for Logan and Grayson. While many of us will be enjoying being around all of our family and friends, they will be in Utah alone. This would be a great opportunity to send them a card, an encouraging email or a care package!
Please visit their FB Page, their church website and Logan's personal blog to get more acquainted with their work to the Mormon people in Provo, Utah!
