We loved Williamsburg, Virginia! We stayed at Parkside Resort from Monday to Friday and had the best time at the resort! Because we went the first week of June and schools were still in session, the resort was almost vacant!
We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo and it was nice! The boys loved the room! They learned the phrase, "Oh my Word" on this trip after I saw the room for the first time! Everytime we came in the room from being out, they would both say, "OH My WORD!"
The boys were so good during vacation! The only minor part that was alittle sad was that Evan had a mild stomach virus. He was such a trooper and he did his best and everything worked out just fine! We just felt sorry for him. It did make him not want to ride hardly any rides at Busch Gardens.=(
The Best Part about the resort was the kid-friendly splash pad and lagoons! We couldn't believe how beautiful it was! Every night after a long day of fun and adventure, we would go straight to the splash pad with the kids! This was probably their favorite part of the trip! As you can tell by the pictures, it was vacant!
Pierson loves everything about the water! Thankfully, the first little pool was just around 1 to 2 feet so he loved it!

So pretty! Now, I can imagine this place is filled with tons of people, but we were so blessed to have it to ourselves! The boys LOVED it!
This was the area of the splash pad! Water was falling from the palm trees and there were tunnels of water being sprayed that the boys could run through.
Little hot tub area under the tiki hut was just the kid's size! They were in heaven! We loved Parkside and would love to take the boys back there soon! What a fun week we had in Williasmburg....Part 3 coming soon.
