Blessings in Disguise

Our mom2mom lesson this week and this song that was posted by my cousin's wife, Haley, really touched my life this week. There are things in our life that we don't see as blessings. In fact, some things are so dark and wrong that we wonder why any human being would see them as blessings. But, we serve a God who knows how to turn the things in our lives that we would see as ugly into something beautiful- a blessing.

It is so refreshing and reassuring for me to remember this verse:

Psalm 37:23- "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way."

No matter what we face, the Lord has gone before us--in each step, whether good or bad. He has promised to "Never leave us or forsake us" and He also has promised us that "ALL things work together for our good."

What an awesome GOD we have!
